Ofsted

Westfield Academy has been a consistently "Good" school since 2012.

We have been inspected in 2012, 2016 and 2019, each time we were judged "Good." All the inspection reports are below. We now believe we are firmly on a journey to becoming "Outstanding."

Below are some key points from the most recent 10-11 December 2019 inspection.

  • The "Westfield Way" rules for learning lay out leaders' high expectations. Pupils want to learn and their behaviour is good."
  • "Pupils tell us they enjoy school and feel safe."
  • "They trust staff to sort things out and bullying is rare."
  • "The teachers care."
  • "They make good progress and achieve well, particularly in English and Science."

Full information concerning this, and previous, inspections may be found on the Ofsted website.
