Geography [1]
Key Stage 3
At Key Stage 3 students follow a course covering the different types of Geography – Human, Physical and Environmental. In Year 7 students follow topics on Map Skills, Exploring Britain and Rivers and Floods. In Year 8 students learn about Energy, Coasts and Settlement. In Year 9 the topics studied are Earthquakes and Volcanoes and Global Development. We are in the process of developing our Key Stage 3 curriculum and will be building on these topics. We will be developing a unit on the London 2012 Olympics.
