Support for Parents

We recognise that as a school we have a responsibility to support our parents/carers in obtaining appropriate support and guidance for their children. We strongly encourage and support good working relationships with our parents/carers as this helps create positive outcomes for our students.

Hertfordshire Police provides on crime prevention as well as practical advice on what to do if you or your child are a victim of crime.

Healthy Young Minds in Herts is part of the CAMHS umbrella of support. It helps parents of what they should do if their worried about their child and when and how to seek professional advice

Within this portal, you can access the directory for services all across the county. Things included are: Counselling, support with housing or financial needs, education and much more.

YC Hertfordshire is great for young people who want to engage with activities outside of school. Within areas across Watford and Three Rivers, they hold youth projects daily. This is a great way for your child to expand their social circle and learn new skills.

Family Lives also offer a family support service in which you can speak to a trained family support worker. You can access this by calling 0808 800 2222
