After a summer resting, having holidays and getting ready for the new term, it was a total delight, welcoming 240 brand new Westfield students. I've been doing this job over 13 years now, and I can honestly say they were the smartest, best prepared, most engaging new year 7 students that I have welcomed to the academy. The feedback from Ms Reader (Head of Year) and Ms Emmerson (KS3 pastoral lead) was just as positive. They had a wonderful day. Ms Green (Dance and Drama), one of the new Year 7 form tutors, received a lovely message at the end of the day from a parent after she had emailed the parents of her new form group.
